Art Classes
I have over 35 years experience as an artist and art tutor, including running a private art gallery, private studio and teaching many hundreds of students of all ages and abilities to become both hobby and
professional artists. I have worked for the ETB (Educational Training Board, formerly the VEC) for many years, as well as working for 7 years as Artist In Residence with the Psychiatric Health Services in St. Dympna's Hospital, in Carlow, Ireland, where I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with many clients experiencing mental health issues. I continue to work for the HSE in the mental health services covering the south east of Ireland. I have also worked for the OPW, Carlow and Laois Arts Offices. I worked as Artist In Residence for 10 months in 2023 in Cahir Arts, Cahir, Co. Tippearary, Ireland. I teach private groups as well as one to one individual classes, in a wide variety of media from painting (oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel) and drawing skills, textiles, mixed media, metal work and much more. There is an aritist in everyone so why not contact me to arrange a class and bring that artist out in you!
